Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a Central Europe country that neighbors’ on the West: Germany, on the South: Czech Republic and Slovakia, on the East: Ukraine and Belarus and on the North: Lithuania, Russia and Baltic See. Moreover, it has a maritim border with Denmark and Sweden. The whole territory of Poland is 312 683 square meeters, which positions the country in terms of its territory on the 69th place in the world. Poland has 38.1 millions inhabitants, concentrated mainly in big cities and municipalities, as the historical capital – Cracow and the actual one – Warsaw.

The Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland established diplomatic relations on 27 of December 1991.
